On November 1, 2008, UCLA Extension was no longer able to provide the optional post-graduate professional credit to 2008-2009 Institute attendees.
Students enrolled as of October 31, 2008, for Summer 2008 and Fall 2008 Quarters will receive the UCLA Extension credit upon course work completion.

Overview of Course Eligibility
Below you'll find two approaches to help you narrow your choices for following up your professional development with UCLA Extension post-graduate credits. First, from the point of view of how many units you are targeting. Second is a list of professional development options that make you eligible for each type of course, by number of units. The Courses at a Glance matrix shows all basic course info at once.
Options by total units
- 12 quarter units for those students who have the following profile:
40-hour Institute, Year 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 4 quarter units 80-hour Passport (over 2 year period) + 8 quarter units = 12 quarter units - 8 quarter units for those students who have the following profile:
40-hour ELPD Institute 4 quarter units 40-hour Passport (over 2 year period) + 4 quarter units = 8 quarter units - 4 quarter units for those students who have the following profile:
40-hour Institute, Year 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5
40-hour ELPD Institute
40-hour Coach Session I, II, III, or IV
80-hour Passport [over 2 year period]
40-hour Passport [over 2 year period]
9-10 Teacher Modules Institute
or

| 80-hour Passport (over 2 year period) | + 4 quarter units |

*Note: Teacher Module students are assumed to not be eligible for the Passport Program.
